GTK04 – River Kwai Kanchanaburi and Elephants World – Group Tour

Group Tour Itinerary –

06:15-07:00 Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok and travel to the meeting point at Khaosan Road in Bangkok.

07:15 Depart from the meeting point at Khaosan Road and travel to the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi.

09:30 Arrive in Kanchanaburi and visit the River Kwai Bridge spanning the Khwae Yai river in Kanchanaburi which was constructed by prisoners of war during the Japanese occupation of Thailand during the second world war and then visit the nearby war cemetery and the JEATH War Museum which shows many artifacts and photos with explanations and also models from this sad period in history.

11:30 Arrive at Elephant World Introduction & Safety rules + included Buffet lunch.

12:30 Enter the park and meet the elephants, feed them some watermelon and pumpkins!.

12:50 Help prepare food for the older elephants. Activities can differ everyday, For example, cutting grass, make sticky rice or banana grass balls.

13:45 Join in or observe the elephants taking a mud bath.

14:00 Take the elephants to the river for a bath.

14:45 Refresh yourself with a cold drink and a shower. Towels are provided.

15:00 Finish the program and say goodbye to the elephants.

17:30-18:00 Arrive back in Bangkok Hotel.

Remark : The itinerary order is subject to change depending on traffic and/or weather conditions.

If you are not located in any of our pickup areas you will need to make your own way to one of the following meeting points –
