- You can identify the boats by the colour of the flag they are flying, orange, yellow, green or no flag (local line). Each colour has different stops and ticket prices so make sure to check the route map at the pier.
2. Alight at Ratchawongse Pier (N5) :
- Get off the boat at Ratchawongse Pier (N5) which is the closest pier to Chinatown.
- This journey should typically take around 20-30 minutes depending on the boat service and river traffic.
3. Walk to Chinatown :
- After disembarking at Ratchawongse Pier walk eastward along Ratchawong Road.
- Continue on this road until you reach Yaowarat Road which is the main street of Chinatown and is about a 10-minute walk from Ratchawongse Pier.
- Yaowarat Road and its surrounding streets are bustling with shops, street food stalls and restaurants where you can explore the rich culture and flavours of Chinatown.
To get to Asiatique The Riverfront (which is a large open-air mall in Bangkok) from Phra Arthit Pier (N13) you can also use the Chao Phraya River boat services.
