Cooking Class Activities:

  • Learn traditional Thai food prep techniques from our experienced instructors. They will guide you through the step-by-step process of creating authentic Thai dishes.
  • Morning Class: 9:00 – 12:20
    – Visit the local market.
  • Afternoon Class: 13:40 – 17:00
    -Take our Thai cooking class and tour our Herb mini-garden.
  • Evening Class: 18:00 – 21:00
    -Showing and teaching you about the traditional fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices used for making authentic Thai food. The Herb mini-garden is home to a variety of unique potted herbs used to create the distinctive taste of Thai cuisine.

Menu:

  • Spicy Sour Shrimp Soup (Tom Yum Goong): A hot and sour soup made with shrimp, mushrooms, lemongrass, lime leaves, and Thai chili paste.
  • Fried Noodle Thai Style (Pad Thai): Stir-fried rice noodles with tofu, shrimp (optional), egg, bean sprouts, and peanuts, seasoned with fish sauce, tamarind paste, and lime juice.
  • Green Papaya Salad (Som Tam): Shredded green papaya mixed with tomatoes, green beans, peanuts, and dressed with a spicy and tangy dressing made from lime juice, fish sauce, garlic, and Thai chilies.
  • Green Curry with Chicken (Geang Khew Waan Gai): A fragrant curry made with chicken, Thai green curry paste, coconut milk, eggplant, bamboo shoots, and Thai basil leaves.
  • Red Curry with Chicken (Geang Phed Gai): A spicy curry made with chicken, Thai red curry paste, coconut milk, bell peppers, bamboo shoots, and kaffir lime leaves.
  • Masaman Curry with Chicken and Potato (Masaman Gai): A rich and flavorful curry made with chicken, potatoes, onions, peanuts, and masaman curry paste.
  • Dessert: Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango (Khaw Neaw Mamuang): A popular Thai dessert made with sticky glutinous rice, fresh sweet mango slices, and topped with a sweet coconut sauce.
