GTA03 – Ayutthaya Hightlights – Small Group Tour

Group Tour Itinerary –

06:15-07:00 Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok and travel to the meeting point at Khaosan Road in Bangkok.

07:15 Depart from the meeting point at Khaosan Road and travel to Ayutthaya Ancient City.

09:15 Visit Wat Phu Khao Thong which is located just outside the city of Ayutthaya and then travel to visit Wat Mahathat which was constructed during the reign of King Borom Rachathirat I in 1374 A.D.

10:30 Elephant riding at Ayutthaya Elephant Palace & Royal Kraal.

12:00 Lunch at local Thai restaurant.

12:30 Travel by ‘Tuk Tuk’ to visit the quaint Ayothaya Floating Market.

14:30 Visit Wat Chaiwatthanaram which was constructed nearly 400 years ago.

15:00 Depart from Ayutthaya to return to Bangkok.

17:00-17:30 Arrive back in Bangkok at Khaosan Road or Sam Yot MRT train station (upon request).

Remark : The itinerary order is subject to change depending on traffic and/or weather conditions.

Dress code –

Cover your shoulders and knees : Both men and women should ensure that their shoulders, arms and knees are covered. This means wearing clothing that extends below the knee and covers the shoulders. Sleeveless tops, shorts and short skirts should be avoided.

If you are not located in any of our pickup areas you will need to make your own way to one of the following meeting points –

• Khaosan Road – In front of Chana Songkhram Police Station at the end of Khaosan Road opposite Wat Chana Songkram
